USA Ratgeber
Created a website for german speaking people who immigrate to the United States. The web site is supposed to help users with their first steps in the US and inform them about daily things living here.

Design
Designed the whole website to make it appear professional but still modern looking. Tools used: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
HTML / CSS
Hand coded the web site using current HTML and CSS standards. Took the Photoshop layout and transformed it into a clean html code.
SEO / SEM
Installed Google Analytics for tracking purposes. Optimized keywords on the site to get to the top of the google search results. Ranked in the top three in Google's organic search results using german search terms "[State] Sales Tax" and "[State] Drivers License."
CMS
Took the HTML draft and implemented a content management system to the web site. The CMS (Wordpress) uses PHP as the coding language and MySQL as the database. Developed custom plugins and pages to fit the website's needs
Family Hair Salon
Created an online presence for a local Hair Salon. One of the goals was to be able to better interact with the customers of the salon and reach new customers through the use of social media. Another goal was to be ranked near the top organic search results using key local search terms.

A concept web site used to further tone my skills. This web site acts as a travel guide to Vienna, Austria (my home city.) The user will find informations about the major attractions, mode of transportation and general information about Vienna.
